Intarsia Cowl or Scarf

Intarsia is an easy way to get color work into your knitting. Learn this technique to make a cowl or scarf. Changing Leaves Cowl or Scarf is written by Donna Herron. 

Sizes:  Cowl:  8" x 30"    Scarf : 8" x 60"

This is a 3 part class, 2 hours each part. Materials and tools extra.

Materials: Both cowl and scarf use Worsted Weight Yarn (#4)                                                                       Main Color: 220 yards for cowl and 330 for scarf.                                                                         For Leaves: assorted balls, approximately 30 yards each. Pattern calls for 4 colors.

                 US # 7 (4.5mm) knitting needles

                 Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

Gauge: 20 st and 32 rows = 4"(10cm)
