Fall is Here!
New yarns are arriving!
Time to think of those great warm projects!

You might want to try your hand at a great cabled sweater from Jody Long!  We just got in "Alba", a lovely new yarn that has some fabulous sweaters done in it!  If you're a Rowan Felted Tweed fan (and who isn't?), then you will love Alba!  It's just like Rowan's Felted Tweed, but it has a couple of very important differences!  This one is Superwash and comes in a 100 gram ball!  Those were the two things that stop a lot of people from using Felted Tweed for those lovely Fall sweaters.  Well no need to hold back any longer!
Alba is 50% Merino, 25% Alpaca, 25% Viscose, with a great colored tweed fleck in it.  There are 382 yards in a ball, working as a DK!  Seaforth  the pattern book for Alba is amazing!   It features 7 designs inspired by the Highlands of Scotland.  I love every one!

The pattern book is $14.99 and the yarn is $18.50 per ball.  The colors are rich and lovely!

Just in!  Homestead Yarn from Plymouth!
This new yarn that just arrived is Homestead, by Plymouth.  It is a lovely Peurvian  Highland Wool that works as an Aran.  We designed a nice hat in it called the Garden Path to see how it worked, and it was great!  We have several patterns to try in Homestead in the shop.  We think you'll enjoy the knit!
There are 191 yards per 100 gram skein,  working at 4 sts to the inch on a size 9 needle. Hand Washable. $11.99 per skein.

This cabled wrap and many others are done in the lovely Homestead.

Aidez is a free pattern from Berroco that is done in a nice Chunky.  They have many yarns that will do this sweater!  Go to to see the options!
