16 Worsted

16 Worsted is so named because the Merino wool for this luscious yarn is only 16 Microns thick. The softest hairs from the animal are also the thinnest, so "Sixteen" is an amazingly soft and lovely merino. The dyeing process creates a semi-solid tonal, perfect for adding a little interest to the fabric without distracting from any stitch patterns.
