Alba gets its name from the original Gaelic name for Scotland.  It's tweed effect and colors are inspired by the Scottish Highlands.  It combines Merino wool with superfine Alpaca and a little viscose for a soft feel and rustic appeal. It works beautifully in both colorwork and cabled patterns!
