Learn all the basics of knitting in this 4 part class. First learn how to cast-on, knit, purl, and bind-off with an 8" square that will be used as part of a charity afghan.  Then, go on to a project of your choice. By the time you're done, you'll have learned increases, decreases, and how to follow a pattern too!

This is a continuing knitting class that keeps you learning and working on a project of your choice. You can choose to tackle a garment, shawl, or whatever inspires you. We will work at your speed to help you through new techniques and using different tools!

Cabled Hat

Try your hand at knitting in the round, and throw in some cables while you're at it! This class is for the continuing beginner, after you have learned the basics. It will help you take your skills to the next level!

Socks: Top Down

Learn to knit socks that really fit! You can use two circular needles, double pointed needle, or learn the magic loop. Choose a pattern with a stitch pattern and a gorgeous sock yarn to make a truly unique garment.

Kool Aid Dyed Yarn

Dye Your Own Yarn with Kool Aid

We love to dye our own yarn with Kool Aid and the microwave! This technique is fool-proof and always looks fun in your project! We'll dye one week, and then come back and learn how to knit up the plaid pattern the second week!

Learning how to make a sweater fit is the hardest thing in knitting! You'll always finish a successful project when starting from the top-down and having the ability to try on the sweater as you go! These sweaters will have raglan sleeve shaping, but you can choose a pullover or cardigan, long or short sleeve!

Weave a Picture!

Learn how to weave a picture or pattern! You draw the design, pick the yarn, and play with the colors.  It's fun and fast! You can use the panel in a larger knitted piece -- we've used it as the back panel for a kimono jacket!
